I treat this blog/newsletter like a notes app —an archive of my thoughts on current events, tech, public policy, regulation, and other business matters.

I've had a varied career path, including work in finance, manufacturing, healthcare, technology, and the British Columbia Public Service. 

I work a 9-5 at the Ministry of Finance in the Financial and Corporate Sector Policy branch, developing and implementing new legislation and regulations for the British Columbia real estate and securities markets. 

In addition to my public policy work, I occasionally take on marketing communications projects.

I hold a Master's in Public Administration and honours degrees in philosophy and marketing. I have additional project management, risk management, editing, and finance training.

My writing and stories on this site are a collection of my thoughts, perspectives, and exploration of paradoxes and real life. I'm curious about how to live a good life and what it means to live a good life.
